Start-up Page
The Start-up Page feature prints a page that lists the selected resolution,
installed RAM, hard disk identities, page count, enabled interfaces, and
network information each time the printer is turned on.
Set Start-up Page from the front panel UTILITY: STARTUP PAGE
menu, from XANTÉ Command Center on a Macintosh, or by
downloading Adobe PostScript files to the printer. In the UTILITY:
STARTUP PAGE menu, Yes (the factory default) enables the
feature; No disables it. In XANTÉ's Macintosh Command Center,
the General: Startup Page menu allows you to turn the Start-up Page
feature on and off or to print a start-up page on demand.
The XANTÉ Utilities CD-ROM contains the PostScript files
Startpg.on and Startpg.off. Download these files to the printer to
enable (Startpg.on) or disable (Startpg.off) the feature. See
"Downloads Folder" in chapter 3 (Macintosh) and "PS_Files Folder"
in chapter 4 (PC) for instructions.
To print a start-up page manually, take the printer offline and press
the Test key. After the start-up page prints, press the Online key to
put the printer back online.
