Trapping
The process of slightly overlapping colors of adjoining images to
prevent a thin white line (misregistration) from appearing between
the images.
TrueColour Calibration
XANTÉ's new color technology that provides linearization support
for predictable, consistent, and reproducible CMYK color matching.
Access this feature through the front panel XANTÉ TrueColour
option under GRAPHICS: COLOUR OUTPUT menu.
TrueColour Correction
XANTÉ's new color technology for the XANTÉ Colour
ScreenWriter that allows selecting of the desired proof mode when
printing, requiring no changes to files or software. It includes an ICC
profile for sRGB. Access this feature through the front panel Press
Proofing option under GRAPHICS: COLOUR OUTPUT menu.
Typeface
A typeface is a set of characters. The characters in a typeface all have
three things in common: family, style, and character set. See also
Font, Family, and Character Set.
Unshielded Twisted-Pair Cable
A commonly used IEEE Ethernet cabling standard. UTP, or
10BaseT, consists of two insulated copper strands twisted about each
other to reduce outside interference signals. UTP cable, which is
used to create star networks, is relatively inexpensive, easy to install,
easy to modify, and may already exist in many installations as part of

Vector Image
An image composed of a mathematical description of lines, curves,
and geometric shapes. See Bitmapped Image.
