16.2.5.1
Compliance compensation
The applied VT is corrected by the determined breathing hose compliance, i.e., an
additional volume is delivered in order to ensure the application of the volume to the
patient. If the device is equipped with the integrated patient-gas measurement
module, the applied VT is corrected by the amount of suction flow as soon as CO
respiratory phases are detected.
