Description
Determines whether the change of RR
automatically causes a change of I:E. In
this way, Ti remains constant.
Applies to the following ventilation
modes:
– PC - SIMV
– PC - SIMV / PS
– VC - SIMV
– VC - SIMV / PS
– VC - SIMV / AutoFlow
– VC - SIMV / PS / AutoFlow
Prerequisite: Inspiratory-time control is
set to I:E.
Switches the breathing system warmer
on or off.
Determines whether the Start dialog
opens automatically when ventilation
activity is detected (e.g., as a result of
repeated squeezing of the breathing
bag).
Corrects the accuracy of the flow mea-
surement on devices with inspiratory
O
measurement.

Corrects the measured flow values
automatically when an anesthetic gas
monitor is connected (see "Flow correc-
tion", page 149).
Deactivates the correction.
Corrects the measured flow values
when sevoflurane is used.
Select the value according to the typical
setting on the vaporizer control dial.
(The vaporizer automatically makes
any correction necessary for altitude.)
