DASHBOARD RADIO

NOTE
Before attempting to solve an electrical
problem on the sound system, refer to the
wiring diagrams.
Refer to your vehicle Operator's manual for the
radio operating instructions.
2.3.1

Removal/Installation

To remove the radio from its location, proceed
as follows:
1. Place the ignition switch in the ''OFF''
position.
2. Remove the dashboard cover.
3. Unplug the connectors from the radio and
unfasten back plate securing nuts/screws.
4. On the front side of the unit, insert the
removal tool #20584494 in the holes found
each side in order to separate the unit from
the support.
5. From behind, push the unit through the front
dashboard panel.
6. Installation of a new unit is the same as
removal but in reverse order.

2.4.1 Removal/Installation
To remove the Sound Selector from its location,
proceed as follows:
4. Place the ignition switch in the ''OFF''
position.
5. Remove the dashboard cover.
6. Unplug the connectors from the VSS and
unfasten back plate securing nuts/screws.
7. On the front side of the unit, insert the
removal tool #20584494 in the holes found
each side in order to separate the unit from
the support.
8. From behind, push the unit through the front
dashboard panel.
9. Installation of a new unit is the same as
removal but in reverse order.
