Symptom
The "POSITION ALARM"
is displayed during
cutting.

Possible Cause
Cutting condition and
media is not matching.
Cutting Speed is too
fast.
Cutting Force is too high.
It is cutting the writing
panel.
Something is hitting the
X slider.
The X flexible cable is
defective.
The home position is
not set to the correct
position.
Confirmation item
Is it cutting hard and
thick media?
Is the blade length too
long?
Is there any object on
the X slider area?
Is the X flexible cable
broken?
Is the position error
displayed when the Y
bar is moved to the right
side end?
Is the position error
displayed when the pen
block is moved to the top
side end?

10 TROUBLESHOOTING
Solution
(Yes) Cutting Speed is too
fast or Cutting force is
too high.
Reduce the cutting
speed or reduce the
cutting force.
When the hard and
thick media is cutting,
it may not cut by one
pass.
Cut it at the low cutting
force with the two
passes or the three
passes.
(No) Confirm it is not cutting
the writing panel.
(Yes) Reduce the blade
length.
(No) Confirm there is no
object on the X slider
area.
(Yes) Remove the object
from the X slider area.
(No) Confirm the X flexible
cable is not broken.
(Yes) Replace the X flexible
cable.
(No) Confirm the home
position was set to
correct position.
(Yes) Adjust the home
position.
(No) Confirm the Y direction
of home position.
(Yes) Adjust the home
position.
(No) Confirm the X motor
rotates correctly.
