Symptom
The command error is
displayed.

Incorrect data was
received.
The tangential mode is
set to ON.
The sorting mode is set
to ON.
Setting of the priority is
set to PROGRAM.
The [ENTER] key is not
pressed after changing
the TOOL CONDITION.
Distance adjust value is
not correct.
The step size settings
are not matching with
the application software
and the plotter.
The "Fit to media size" is
setting on the application
software.

software.

settings on the plotter.
Confirm the tangential
mode in Cutting
Condition menu on the
plotter.
Confirm the sorting
mode in on the plotter.
Confirm the priority is not
set to PROGRAM on the
plotter.
Confirm the TOOL
CONDITION again.
Confirm the distance
adjustment value.
Confirm it becomes the
two or four times larger
size.
Or confirm it becomes
the two or four times
smaller size.

10 TROUBLESHOOTING
Solution
Set the HP-GL command
on the plotter when the GP-
GL command error was
displayed.
Set the GP-GL command
on the plotter when the HP-
GL command error was
displayed.
Set the GP-GL command or
the HP-GL command on the
plotter when the command
settings was set to the AUTO.
HP-GL command error was
displayed.
The plotter may not detect
the correct command mode
automatically at some of
application software.
Turn OFF the setting for the
tangential mode unless you
are cutting thick media.
Normally, use the plotter with
setting for the sorting OFF.
Set the setting of the priority
to MANUAL.
Press the ［ENTER］key
after the tool conditions were
changed.
Perform distance adjust.
Set same step size to the
application software and the
plotter.
Set output size to the 100%
on the application software.
