Symptom
The "POSITION ALARM"
is displayed during
cutting.
The tool position can not
move to the lower left
of origin after the power
was turned on.
The origin becomes to
center position.

Possible Cause
X motor is defective.
Y motor is defective.
The origin is setting to
other than lower left
origin point.
The origin position was
not adjusted correctly
after the main board was
replaced.
The X or Y motor pulley
is not fixing.
The origin was setting
to the center position in
the HP-GL command
settings.
Confirmation item
Does the X motor rotate
correctly?
Does the Y motor rotate
correctly?
Is the Origin LED
lighting?
Confirm the origin
position adjustment
point.
Confirm the X or Y
motor pulley is fixing
with the set screws.
Confirm the origin
settings in the application
software.
Or confirm the origin
settings on the plotter.

10 TROUBLESHOOTING
Solution
(No) The X motor turns
quickly, and then
the position error is
displayed.
Confirm the cable is
connecting securely.
Replace the X motor.
(Yes) Confirm the Y motor
rotates correctly.
(No) The Y motor turns
quickly, and then
the position error is
displayed.
Confirm the cable is
connecting securely.
Replace the Y motor.
(Yes) The origin is memorized
.
Move the tool position
to the lower left, and
then press the origin
key until two beeps
sound.
Or turn on the power
while pressing the
origin key to reset the
origin point.
(No) Confirm the adjustment
of home position.
Readjust the origin point.
Assign tool 1 for the cutting
condition when the origin is
adjusting in the maintenance
mode.
Tighten the set screws holding
the X or Y motor pulley.
Set center origin in the
application software.
Or set the origin to the lower
left in the HP-GL command
setting menu on the plotter.
