Replacement
1. Replacement is the reverse of the removal procedure. Make sure the document detect
sensor harness is routed correctly before reinstalling the feed assembly, refer to
and Figure 3.

Removal
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Disconnect the power cord from the customer
supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity can cause death or
injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
Take care during this procedure. Sharp edges may be present that can cause injury.

Remove the DADF, PL 5.10 Item 1.
Remove the DADF rear cover, PL 5.10 Item
Remove the DADF door assembly, PL 5.10 Item
Remove the DADF lift solenoid, REP 5.2.
Remove the DADF transport and feed assemblies,

Release the
harnesses.

Disconnect the scan motor.
