ADJUSTMENTS

CASSETTE OPENER GUIDE SHOE POSITION

PURPOSE:
To ensure that the CASSETTE is opened correctly.
Note
·
This adjustment must be carried out when replacing a CASSETTE OPENER ASSEMBLY.
·
This adjustment can not be done on ML300 with SN < 2377, unless it has been
necessary to replace the CASSETTE OPENER ASSEMBLY.

. Move the CASSETTE OPENER down until the black GUIDE SHOES (left and right)
touch the CASSETTE STOP (the OPENER must be released).

. Adjust the gap between the lower edge of the GUIDE SHOE and the CASSETTE
STOP to 2 to 4 mm as shown below. Ensure that the LOCK NUT is tight.
