6B-2 ENGINE COOLING (M15 ENGINE)
WARNING:
• Check to make sure that engine coolant temperature is cold before removing any part of cooling
system.
• Also be sure to disconnect negative cord from battery terminal before removing any part.

On-Vehicle Service
Radiator Removal and Installation
Removal
1) Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2) Drain engine coolant referring to "Cooling System Draining"
in this section.
3) Remove cooling fan assembly referring to "Radiator Cooling
Fan Removal and Installation" in this section.
4) Remove radiator outlet hose (1) from radiator (2).
5) Disconnect A/T fluid hoses from radiator (for A/T model).
6) Remove radiator (2) from vehicle.
Installation
Reverse removal procedures noting the followings.
• Refill cooling system referring to step 7) to 22) of "Cooling
System Flush and Refill" in this section.
• After installation, check each joint for leakage.
