Rear shock absorber lower bolt
Rear shock absorber upper nut
Rear trailing arm nut
Wheel bolt
25) Tighten right and left trailing arm nuts (1), (4) and shock
26) Check to ensure that brake drum is free from dragging and
27) Perform brake test (foot brake and parking brake).
28) Check each installed part for oil leakage.
Tightening Torque Specifications
Fastening part
absorber lower bolts (2) to specified torque.
Tighten lateral rod nuts (3) to specified torque.
NOTE:
When tightening these bolts and nuts, be sure that vehi-
cle is off hoist and in non loaded condition.

Rear trailing arm nut
(a): 80 N·m (8.0 kg-m, 58.0 lb-ft)
Rear shock absorber lower bolt
(b): 63 N·m (6.3 kg-m, 45.5 lb-ft)
Lateral rod axle housing side nut
(c): 50 N·m (5.0 kg-m, 36.5 lb-ft)
Lateral rod body side nut
(d): 100 N·m (10.0 kg-m, 72.5 lb-ft)
Front trailing arm nut
(e): 90 N·m (9.0 kg-m, 65.0 lb-ft)
proper braking is obtained.
