Camshaft Position sensor OK, checking

- Perform electrical check, test steps Fig. 2 and
Fig. 23 Page 01-41
If the engine will NOT start, check the Voltage
supply as follows
- Disconnect the 5 pin harness connector from the
ignition coil (N152).
- Switch Fluke 83 multimeter to 20 Volt range
- Connect multimeter between terminals 1 and 5
of harness connector using jumper wires from
VW 1594 adaptor kit.
- Switch on ignition.
Specification: Must be 10 Volts minimum
- Switch off ignition
