Check establishes whether Motronic Engine
Control Module (J220J recognizes engine
operating conditions.
- Connect VAG 1551 Scan Tool and select engine
electronics (address word 01 ); selection is
performed with engine idling
Display will appear as shown:
HELP
- Select Function 08 "Read measuring value
block" and confirm with Q.
Display will appear as shown:
HELP
- Input 04 for display group 04 and confirm with Q.
Display will appear as shown:
