Throttle damper, checking and
adjusting
Checking
- Open throttle and close again, until
the closing damper plunger -2- just
touches the roller -3-.
- In this position check the gap
between the limiting screw -arrow-
and the throttle body lever -1- with a
feeler gauge or drill.
Specification: 2.5...3.5 mm
Adjusting
- Clamp a 3mm
drill between
limiting screw -arrow- and throttle
body lever -1-.
- Adjust closing damper so that
plunger -2- just touches roller -3-.
- Prevent closing damper from turning
by locking down the lock nut.
