and installing
Component location: Multi-function
switch is located at rear on
transmission.
Recommended special tools and
equipment
V.A.G1331 torque wrench (5 to 50
Nm)
Removing
- Disconnect 8-pin connector from
multi-function switch.
- Remove bolt and retainer.
- Remove Multi-Function Transmission
Range (TR) Switch.
- Replace O-ring.
Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse
order of removal.
- Tighten bolt to 10 Nm.
