Notes:
The Engine Control Module (ECM) for the
combined fuel injection and ignition system
control is equipped with a Diagnostic Trouble
Code (DTC) memory. Before performing
repairs, adjustment work and troubleshooting,
the DTC memory must be checked and all
vacuum connections checked (for unmetered
air).

On Board Diagnostic,
Components marked with ** are checked via
Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)
01-32 .
Always replace spring-type hose clips with
screw-type hose clips.
10.5 Volts minimum is required for trouble-free
electrical component operation.
Do not use any sealants or products containing
silicone. Silicone particles drawn into the engine
are not consumed during combustion and can
damage the Oxygen sensor.
