- Connect test box to control module wiring

- Check wire connection between test box and 2-pin
connector for open circuit according to wiring
diagram:

- Check the wire for short circuit to B+ and to
Ground (GND).
Specified value:
- Check wire between 2-pin connector and the Fuel
Pump (FP) Relay -J17- for open circuit according
to wiring diagram:
Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Troubleshooting &
Component Locations
- Erase DTC memory of Engine Control Module
(ECM) Page ST-25
Reset/erase diagnostic data.
- Generate readiness code
If no malfunctions are found in wires:
- Replace Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) -
