Motronic Fuel Injection and Ignition system

Functional check
Remove fuse 18.
- Bridge harness connector and Camshaft
Position sensor (G40) using adaptor cable VAG
1315A/4.
- Connect VAG 1527B voltage tester between test
connectors 2 and 3 using jumper wires from VW
1594 adaptor kit.
- Operate starter.
LED must flicker
If necessary replace Camshaft Position sensor
