Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister
purge regulator valve 1, checking
Solenoid valve is closed when no voltage is
present.
Recommended special tools and equipment
V.A.G 1526 multimeter or V.A.G1715
multimeter
V.A.G 1594 connector test kit
Wiring diagram
Test requirements
The respective fuses of Evaporative Emission
(EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve -N80-
must be OK:
Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Troubleshooting &
Component Locations
Ground (GND) connections between engine,
transmission, and chassis must be OK.
Ignition switched off.
