Transient Conditions
This chapter gives a description, entity, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) number, and trap for
each commonly encountered transient condition.
Alarms can occur even in those cards that are not explicitly mentioned in the Alarm sections. When an alarm
is raised, refer to its clearing procedure.

Note
The Cisco Transport Controller (CTC) default alarm profile might contain conditions that are not currently
implemented but are reserved for future use.
