The operation is not supported
LAN WAN Enabled on the Port.
Operating mode is not provisioned on the PPM.
The FEC settings are incompatible.
Operation is not Supported. Valid License is not
available on Card/Peer Combination.
Error Message

Raman card is not plugged or not

Error Messages
Description
Interface is already created or wrong
parameters configured.
Performing an unsupported operation.
LAN WAN is enabled on the Port.
The PPM does not have any mode
provisioned. Create a card mode for
the ports before creating the payload.
FEC mode is not configured correctly
for the protection mode being
provisioned during circuit creation.
Valid licence is not installed on the
peer card for the operation mode being
provisioned.
Cause/Solution

information or call Cisco TAC (1
800 553-2447).
Ensure the Raman card is properly
plugged in and is active.
Check for fiber continuity and
connectors.
Ensure ANS parameters are
properly set by ANS.
The OSC PPP is down or there is
no communication between nodes.
Check if an OTDR scan is running
from either end of span or a Raman
calibration is under progress
