Securing your XT Series
a. Do one of the following:
• Select Upload the CA Certificate you received from the Certificate Authority to
upload a CA root certificate.
• Select Upload the PKCS#7 file contraining the CA Certificate and the Signed
Certificate you received from the Certificate Authority to upload CA root
certificate and signed certificate in a single step.
b. Click Choose File and browse to the CA root certificate or .p7b (PKCS#7) file you
received from the CA.
c. Click Upload.
The certificate is validated and its details appear
for XT Series
Tip:
Verify the system's time is synchronized with SNTP, otherwise you may need to wait a
few hours before using this certificate (for details, see
page 103). You can start using this certificate from the time in the notBefore field in
the signed certificate. The certificate is no longer valid after the date in the notAfter
field has elapsed.
