*NO RESPONSE FROM POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (CONTINUED)

SCI RECEIVE CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE
Turn the ignition on.
Measure the voltage of the PCM SCI Receive circuit at the DLC.
Is the voltage below 0.5 volt?
Yes >> Go to 8
No >> Repair the PCM SCI Receive circuit for a short to voltage.
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - VER 2.

SCI TRANSMIT CIRCUIT OPEN
Turn the ignition off.
Measure the resistance of the PCM SCI Transmit circuit from the PCM
harness connector to the DLC.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes >> Go to 9
No >> Repair the PCM SCI Transmit circuit for an open.
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST - VER 2.
