Remove canister (Fig. 7).

INSTALLATION
(1) I n s t a l l EVAP canister to bracket and t i g h t e n
nuts.
(2) I n s t a l l hoses to the top of the EVAP Canister.
(3) I n s t a l l Assembly to the Radiator closure and
tighten bolts to 11.9 N - m (105 i n . lbs.).
(4) Connect electrical connector and vacuum har-
ness.
(5) I n s t a l l front fascia. Refer to Group 13.
LEAK DETECTION PUMP (LOP)
The EVAP purge canister mounts to the radiator
support behind the front fascia.
R E M O V A L
(1) Remove the front fascia. Refer to Group 13.
(2) Disconnect vacuum harness and electrical con-
nector.
(3) F r o m inside of the left front wheel well, remove
EVAP purge canister and L D P Pump bracket mount-
i n g bolts (Fig. 5).
(4) Remove hoses from the top of EVAP canister.
(5) Remove 3 nuts from EVAP canister and bracket
(Fig.
6).
(6) Remove canister (Fig. 7).
(7) Remove 3 screws from L D P and bracket (Fig.
9).

INSTALLATION
(1) I n s t a l l L D P to bracket and install 3 mounting
screws.
(2) I n s t a l l EVAP canister to bracket and tighten
nuts.
(3) I n s t a l l hoses to the top of the EVAP Canister.
(4) I n s t a l l Assembly to the Radiator closure and
tighten bolts to 11.9 N - m (105 i n . lbs.).
(5) Connect electrical connector and vacuum har-
ness.
(6) I n s t a l l front fascia. Refer to Group 13.
