INSTALLATION
(1) Position latch i n door.
(2) Install screws to hold latch to inner door end
panel.
(3) Engage w i r i n g connector to latch release sole-
noid.
(4) Engage
stanchion release handle cable to
retaining clip i n door.
(5) Install door stanchion inner t r i m panel.
(6) Install door t r i m panel.
DOOR OPENING WEATHER-STRIP - ROADSTER
R E M O V A L
(1) Open door.
(2) Disengage push-in fastener at base of w i n d -
shield holding door opening weather-strip to A-pillar.
(3) P u l l weather-strip from flange along door sill,
B-pillar, and lower portion of A-pillar (Fig. 30).
(4) P u l l weather-strip from weather-strip retainers
along roof and windshield portion of A-pillar
(5) Separate weather-strip from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
(1) A l i g n push-in fastener i n weather-strip to mat-
i n g hole i n A-pillar at base of windshield.
(2) S t a r t i n g at push-in fastener location, push
weather-strip into weather-strip retainers along roof
and windshield portion of A-pillar
(3) I f necessary, apply adhesive to back of weather-
strip to hold weather-strip to flange along lower por-
tion of A-pillar, door sill, and B-pillar.
(4) Push weather-strip onto flange along door sill,
B-pillar, and lower portion of A-pillar.
INNER BELT WEATHER-STRIP
R E M O V A L
(1) Remove door t r i m panel.
(2) Remove push i n fasteners attaching the leading
edge of the inner belt weather-strip to the inner door
panel.
(3) P u l l upward on leading edge of inner belt
weather-strip and disengage weather-strip from
flange on door panel (Fig. 31).
(4) P u l l weather-strip from the door panel.
(5) Remove inner belt weather-strip from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
(1) Position inner belt weather-strip to vehicle.
(2) Position rearward edge of weather-strip t i g h t
against the rear door glass r u n channel.
(3) Push downward on t r a i l i n g edge of inner belt
weather-strip and engage weather-strip to flange on
the door panel.
(4) Push weather-strip onto the door panel flange.
(5) I n s t a l l push i n fasteners to attach the leading
edge of the inner belt weather-strip to the inner door
panel.
(6) Install door t r i m panel.
