Assembled
(4) Install the assembled pieces of Remover, Spe-
cial Tool 6969-2 (Fig. 102), on the lower control arm.
Then, install Remover, Special Tool 6969-1, and N u t ,
Special Tool 6969-4, on the bolt of Remover, Special
Tool 6969-2 (Fig. 103).

(5) Isolator bushing is removed from control a r m
using the following procedure. Hold the bolt of
Remover, Special Tool 6969-2, from t u r n i n g while
r o t a t i n g the nut (Fig. 103). This w i l l p u l l the isolator
bushing out of the control arm.
(6) Transfer Remover's, Special Tool 6969-1 and
6969-2, and N u t , Special Tool 6969-4, to the remain-
i n g isolator bushing i n the lower control arm(Fig.
104).

(7) Remove the second isolator bushing from the
control a r m using the procedure listed i n above steps
4 and 5.
ASSEMBLE
(1) Squarely position the isolator bushing into the
control arm pivot end bore.
(2) Position the control a r m i n an arbor press (Fig.
105). Support the control a r m using Receiver, Special
Tool L 4422-1. Press the isolator bushing into the
lower control arm using Driver, Special Tool 6758
(Fig. 105).

(3) Press the isolator bushing into the control arm
u n t i l the flange of the bushing is squarely seated
