INSTALLATION
(1) Insert the C H M S L w i r i n g harness through the
C H M S L opening i n the t a i l lamp closure panel.
(2) Insert C H M S L i n t o the opening i n the t a i l
lamp closure panel.
(3) Through the license plate lamp opening, i n s t a l l
the metal clip to hold the C H M S L to the t a i l lamp
closure panel b y pushing clip u p w a r d w i t h your fin-
gers.
N O T E : M a k e s u r e t h e b o d y w i r e h a r n e s s i s still
a t t a c h e d t o t h e c l i p .
(4) Through the license plate opening, engage the
C H M S L w i r i n g connector to the body w i r i n g harness.
(5) Position the license plate lamp closure panel i n
the license plate lamp opening.
(6) I n s t a l l the screws to hold the license
plate
lamp closure panel to the t a i l lamp closure panel.
TURN SIGNAL AND BACK-UP LAMP
REMOWAL
(1) Remove - t r u n k l i n i n g as
necessary to gain
access to the t r u n k pan behind the t u r n and back-up
lamp.
(2) Remove plugs covering the access holes i n the
t r u n k pan for the t u r n and back-up lamp.
(3) Remove plastic seal nuts attaching the t u r n
and back-up lamp to the t a i l lamp closure panel
t h r o u g h the access holes (Fig. 7).

p a n or t h e tail l a m p c l o s u r e p a n e l will n e e d to b e
r e m o v e d .
(4) Remove the t u r n and back-up lamp from the
t a i l lamp closure panel.
(5) Remove lamp sockets from the lamp housing.
(6) Remove the t u r n and back-up lamp from the
vehicle.

(1) Position lamp to vehicle.
(2) I n s t a l l the lamp sockets i n the lamp housing.
(3) Position t u r n signal and back-up lamp i n the
t a i l lamp closure panel.
(4) I n s t a l l plastic seal nuts to attach t u r n signal
and back-up lamp to t a i l lamp closure panel.
(5) I n s t a l l plugs to cover the access holes i n the
t r u n k pan for the t u r n and back-up lamp.
(6) I n s t a l l the t r u n k l i n i n g .
TAIL AND STOP LAMP
REMOWAL
(1) Remove t r u n k l i n i n g as
necessary to gain
access to the t r u n k pan behind the t a i l lamp.
(2) Remove plugs covering the access holes i n the
t r u n k pan for the t a i l lamp.
(3) Remove plastic seal nuts holding the t a i l lamp
to the t a i l lamp closure panel through the access
holes.

p a n or the tail l a m p c l o s u r e p a n e l will n e e d to b e

(4) Separate the t a i l lamp from the t a i l lamp clo-
sure panel (Fig. 8).
(5) Remove lamp sockets from the t a i l lamp.
(6) Separate the t a i l lamp from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
(1) Position the t a i l lamp to the vehicle.
(2) I n s t a l l the lamp sockets i n the t a i l lamp.
(3) Position the t a i l lamp i n the t a i l lamp closure
panel.
