HORN SWITCH
(1) Remove horn relay from the Power D i s t r i b u t i o n
Center (PDC).
(2) U s i n g ohmmeter, connect one lead to ground
and the other lead to P i n 12 of the PDC. Refer to the
PDC cover or W i r i n g Diagrams 8W-11 Power D i s t r i -
bution.
(3) Depress h o r n switch, should have continuity. I f
no continuity go to Step 4.
(4) Test continuity at horn switch, remove the
Driver A i r b a g Module. Refer to Driver Airbag Module
Removal and I n s t a l l a t i o n procedures.

U s i n g ohmmeter, connect one lead to the air-
bag module ground and the other lead to B+ w i r e
(Fig.
5).
(6) Depress h o r n switch, and the meter should
show continuity. I f no continuity, replace the D r i v e r
Airbag Module. I f O K , repair as necessary.
R E M O W A L A N D I N S T A L L A T I O N
ELECTRONIC ENTRY MODULE (EEM)
For service o f the Electronic E n t r y Module (EEM),
refer to Group 8Q, Vehicle Theft/Security System for
Removal and I n s t a l l a t i o n procedures.
HORN
REMOVAL
(1) Remove front bumper and fascia, refer to
Group 13, Frame and Bumper.
(2) Remove connector and m o u n t i n g bolt (Fig. 2).
INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedures.

HORN RELAY
REMOVAL
(1) Remove Power D i s t r i b u t i o n Center cover and
locate the h o r n relay.
(2) Remove h o r n relay. Refer to the PDC cover or
W i r i n g Diagrams 8W-11 Power Distribution.
INSTALLATION
For installation reverse the above procedures.
HORN SWITCHES
The H o r n Switch is part of the Driver Airbag Mod-
ule. Refer to Driver Airbag Module Removal and
Installation procedures i n Group 8 M , Restraint
Systems.
