INSTALLATION
(1) A l i g n push i n fastener i n weather-strip to mat-
i n g hole i n A-pillar at base of windshield.
(2) S t a r t i n g at push-in fastener location, push
weather-strip into weather-strip retainers along roof
and windshield portion of A-pillar
(3) I f necessary, apply adhesive t o back'of weather-
strip to hold weather-strip to flange along lower por-
t i o n of A-pillar, door sill, and B-pillar.
(4) Push weather-strip onto flange along door sill,
B-pillar, and lower portion of A-pillar.
SEAT LAP/SHOULDER BELT
REMOVAL
(1) Remove center console.
(2) Move seats to forward positions.
(3) Remove seat belt anchor bolt from center con-
sole (Fig. 44).
(4) Remove seat belt t r i m cover from the bulkhead
t r i m panel.
(5) Remove
screws holding the bulkhead t r i m
panel to t h e bulkhead.
(6) Remove bulkhead t r i m panel from bulkhead.
(7) P u l l the seat belt t r i m cover, seat belt latch,
and seat belt anchor t h r o u g h slot I n bulkhead t r i m
panel.
(8) Remove bolts attaching seat belt retractor to
the rear frame top crossmember and retrieve spacers
for installation.
(9) Remove seat belt retractor from rear frame top
crossmember.

(1) Position seat belt retractor to rear frame top
crossmember.
(2) Position spacers between seat belt retractor
and crossmember a n d i n s t a l l bolts to hold seat belt
retractor to the rear frame top crossmember.
N O T E : T o r q u e for t h e s e a t belt retractor bolts i s 2 8
N-m (250 in. lbs.)-
(3) Route the seat b e l t ' t r i m cover, seat belt latch,
and seat belt anchor t h r o u g h slot I n bulkhead t r i m
panel.
(4) Position bulkhead t r i m panel to bulkhead.
(5) I n s t a l l screws to attach the bulkhead
t r i m
panel to t h e bulkhead.
(6) Position seat belt t r i m cover to the bulkhead
t r i m panel.
(7) I n s t a l l push-in fasteners attaching seat belt
t r i m cover to the bulkhead t r i m panel.
(8) I n s t a l l seat belt anchor bolt from center con-
sole.
N O T E : T o r q u e f o r t h e s e a t belt a n c h o r bolt i s 40
N-m (350 I n . l b s . ) .
(9) I n s t a l l center console.
SEATS
REMOVAL
(1) Set seat position to full rear position.
(2) Remove bolts holding front of seat track to floor
crossmember.
(3) Set seat position to full forward position.
(4) Remove nuts holding rear of seat track to floor
crossmember.
(5) L i f t seat u p w a r d and out of vehicle.
INSTALLATION
(1) Position seat i n vehicle.
(2) Set seat position to full forward position.
(3) I n s t a l l nuts to hold rear o f seat track to floor
crossmember.

(4) Set seat position to full rear position.
(5) I n s t a l l bolts to hold front of seat track to floor
crossmember.
