REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION (Continued)

INSTALLATION
(1) Position inner t r i m panel to door stanchion.
(2) Engage the release cable end to the stanchion
door release handle.
(3) Engage the door release cable housing to the
inner t r i m panel.
(4) Engage the glass r u n weather-strip to the lead-
i n g edge of the inner t r i m panel.
(5) Push downward on stanchion t r i m panel to
position t r i m panel behind the door t r i m panel.
(6) P u l l i n g downward and forward on stanchion
inner t r i m panel, engage t r i m panel to door stan-
chion.
(7) I n s t a l l screws to attach the door stanchion
inner t r i m panel to the door stanchion.
DOOR STANCHION OUTER COVER
R E M O V A L
(1) Remove inner door stanchion t r i m panel.
(2) Remove outside door release handle.
(3) Remove screw holding stanchion cover to door
stanchion (Fig. 25).
(4) Separate stanchion cover from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
(1) Position door stanchion cover to vehicle.
(2) I n s t a l l screw to hold stanchion cover to stan-
chion.
(3) I n s t a l l outside door release handle.
(4) I n s t a l l inner door stanchion t r i m panel.

INSIDE DOOR RELEASE 1EZEL
REMOVAL
(1) Release door latch and open door.
(2) Push rearward on inside door release bezel
u n t i l hooks on bezel disengage from the tabs on door
release.
(3) Remove bezel from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
(1) Position door release bezel i n opening i n door
t r i m panel.
(2) A l i g n hooks on bezel to the tabs on door
release.
(3) Slide bezel forward u n t i l bezel hooks are fully
engaged to the door release tabs.
INSIDE DOOR RELEASE HANDLE
REMOVAL
(1) Remove door t r i m panel.
(2) Remove screw attaching door release handle to
the inner door panel.
(3) Loosen screws attaching release handle bracket
to inner door panel.
(4) P u l l i n g release handle away from door panel,
remove release handle from bracket.
(5) Disconnect release handle w i r i n g connector
from door w i r i n g harness.
(6) Remove door release handle from vehicle (Fig.
26).
