(3) Slide offset lever from shaft (Fig. 14).

(4) Remove speed sensor located i n the t a i l hous-
ing (Fig. 15). Then remove the O-ring located i n the
housing bore.

(5) Remove two t a i l housing nuts located at the
top of the transmission t a i l housing (Fig. 16).
(6) Remove the six t a i l housing to m a i n case bolts
(Fig. 17).
(7) Gently p r y t a i l housing off. Pry only at pry
points (Fig. 18) and p u l l t a i l housing off case.
