REMOVAL A N D INSTALLATION (Continued)

INSTALLATION
(1) Position- door to vehicle.
(2) Close and latch door.
(3) A l i g n door hinge to previously made marks on
hinge pillar.
(4) I n s t a l l bolts holding door hinge to pillar.
(5) Push door harness into pillar and engage w i r e
harness boot to hinge pillar.
(6) Engage w i r e connector located behind hinge
pillar.
(7) I n s t a l l cowl t r i m cover.
(8) I n s t a l l door hinge cover.
DOOR TRIM PANEL
REMOVAL
(1) Remove inside door handle bezel.
(2) Remove screws attaching speaker and grille to
t r i m panel.
(3) Remove speaker from door t r i m panel.
(4) Disconnect speaker w i r i n g connector from door
w i r i n g harness.
(5) Remove door speaker from vehicle.
(6) Remove screws attaching the t r i m panel to the
inner door panel t h r o u g h the speaker opening (Fig.
23).
(7) Remove screw attaching front of t r i m panel to
the inner door panel.
(8) Remove screws attaching the t r i m panel to the
bottom of the door.
(9) P u l l o u t w a r d at bottom of t r i m panel and dis-
engage upper edge of the t r i m panel from inner belt
weather-strip.
(10) Disconnect tweeter w i r i n g connector from door
w i r i n g harness.
(11) Remove t r i m panel from door.

INSTALLATION
(1) Position t r i m panel to door.
(2) Connect tweeter w i r i n g connector to the door
w i r i n g harness.
(3) Holding the bottom of the t r i m panel out from
the door, connect the upper edge of t r i m panel to the
inner belt weather-strip.
(4) I n s t a l l screws to attach t r i m panel to bottom of
the door.
(5) I n s t a l l screw to attach front of t r i m panel to
inner door panel.
(6) I n s t a l l screws to attach the t r i m panel to the
inner door panel through the speaker opening.
(7) Engage speaker w i r i n g connector to door wir-
ing harness.
(8) Position speaker i n door t r i m panel.
(9) I n s t a l l screws to. attach the speaker and grille
to the t r i m panel.
(10) I n s t a l l inside door handle bezel.
DOOR STANCHION INNER TRIM PANEL
REMOVAL
(1) Remove screws attaching the door stanchion
inner t r i m panel to the door stanchion (Fig. 24).
(2) P u l l i n g downward and forward on stanchion
inner t r i m panel, disengage t r i m panel from door
stanchion.
(3) P u l l u p w a r d on stanchion t r i m panel to disen-
gage t r i m panel from the door t r i m panel.
(4) Disengage the glass r u n weather-strip from the
leading edge of the inner t r i m panel.
(5) Separate door release cable housing from the
inner t r i m panel.
(6) Disengage the release cable end from the stan-
chion door release handle.
' (7) Remove t r i m from door stanchion.
