REMOWAL AND INSTALLATION (Continued)
(6) Engage fastener holding access panel to wheel
well panel.
FOG LAMP BULB
R E M O V A L
(1) Rotate front t i r e inboard.
(2) Remove rubber p l u g (4 inches i n diameter)
from radiator closure panel splash area.
(3) Remove rubber seal on fog lamp through 4 i n c h
hole i n closure panel splash area.
(4) Release spring w i r e retainer from fog lamp and
remove bulb.
C A U T I O N : Do not t o u c h t h e g l a s s of h a l o g e n
b u l b s with f i n g e r s ' or • a n y p o s s i b l y oily s u r f a c e ,
r e d u c e d bulb life will r e s u l t .
INSTALLATION
(1) I n s t a l l new bulb and reposition into fog lamp
back.
(2) Squeeze and reposition spring wire to secure
bulb to fog lamp.
(3) Push and replace seal to back of fog lamp.
(4) Replace the 4 inch diameter seal to the closure
panel splash area.
FRONT SIDE MARKER LAMP BULB
REMOVAL
(1) Remove body p l u g from access hole i n radiator
closure panel forward of front wheel.
(2) Reach through access hole and grasp lamp
socket.
(3) Rotate side marker lamp socket counterclock-
wise one h a l f t u r n and p u l l socket from lamp (Fig. 3).
(4) P u l l bulb from socket.

INSTALLATION
(1) Push bulb into socket.
(2) Push socket into lamp and rotate side marker
l a m p socket clockwise one h a l f t u r n .
(3) I n s t a l l body plug to access hole i n radiator clo-
sure panel forward of front wheel.
CENTER HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP BULB
The center h i g h mounted stop lamp (CHMSL) has
no serviceable bulb. I f the lamp does not function
properly, the C H M S L assembly must be replaced.
TAIL AND STOP LAMP BULB
REMOVAL
(1) Remove
t r u n k l i n i n g as necessary to gain
access to the t r u n k pan behind the t a i l lamp.
(2) Remove plugs covering the access holes i n the
t r u n k pan for the t a i l lamp.
(3) Remove plastic seal nuts holding the t a i l lamp
to the t a i l lamp closure panel through the access
holes.
C A U T I O N : D o not d r o p t h e p l a s t i c s e a l n u t s
b e t w e e n t h e tail l a m p c l o s u r e p a n e l a n d the t r u n k
p a n or t h e tail l a m p c l o s u r e p a n e l will n e e d to b e
r e m o v e d .
(4) Separate the t a i l lamp from the t a i l lamp clo-
sure panel.
(5) Rotate socket counterclockwise one h a l f t u r n
and p u l l socket from lamp (Fig. 4).
(6) Rotate and p u l l bulb from socket.

INSTALLATION
(1) Push and t w i s t bulb into socket.
(2) Push socket into lamp and rotate socket clock-
wise one h a l f t u r n .
(3) Position the t a i l lamp i n the t a i l lamp closure
panel.
(4) I n s t a l l plastic seal nuts to hold the t a i l lamp to
the t a i l lamp closure panel through the access holes.
