clear user attr

Removes an authorization attribute from the user profile in the local database on the switch, for a
user with a password. (To remove an authorization attribute from a RADIUS user profile, see the
documentation for your RADIUS server.)
Syntax: clear user username attr attribute-name
username
attribute-name
Defaults: None.
Access: Enabled.
Examples: The following command removes the Session-Timeout attribute from Hosni's user
profile:
DWS-1008# clear user Hosni attr session-timeout
success: change accepted.

clear user group

Removes a user with a password from membership in a user group in the local database on the
switch. (To remove a user from a user group in RADIUS, see the documentation for your RADIUS
server.)
Syntax: clear user username group
username
Username of a user with a password.
Defaults: None.
Access: Enabled.
Usage: Removing the user from the group removes the group name from the user's profile, but
does not delete either the user or the user group from the local database. To remove the group,
use clear usergroup.
