Description
Enables the multicast copy count extension feature.
Syntax Description
This command has no options or parameters.
Default
Disabled
Usage Guidelines
Use this command to enable the multicast copy count extension feature. This feature extends the layer 3
multicast function to allow more than 512 copies, and up to 1023 copies, for a multicast stream. When
this feature is not enabled, only 512 copies are possible for every multicast stream. Before enabling, the
user must configure this feature using the command.
configure ext-mcast loopback-port
Example
The following example enables the multicast copy count extension feature:
