Change the names or IP addresses of servers
Change the Communication Control Toolkit IP
address
After you change the Communication Control Toolkit server name, you must
also update the other servers in the Contact Center suite to ensure the servers
work together. Complete the following tasks described in this section:
1.
Change the Communication Control Toolkit server IP address on the
operating system
2.
If you have a Domain Name Service (DNS) server in your network, update
the DNS with the name of your Communication Control Toolkit server.
3.
On the Communication Control Toolkit server, configure the HOSTS file,
the local Windows users, the Contact Management Framework
configuration, and the user mappings.
4.
Configure Contact Center Manager Server to use the new Communication
Control Toolkit server name.
5.
If you use Contact Center Multimedia, change the name of the
Communication Control Toolkit server on the Contact Center Multimedia
server.
6.
If you are running Contact Center Agent Desktop on the Communication
Control Toolkit server for the telephony toolbar, update the Contact Center
Agent Desktop on the client machines.

Complete the following procedure if you change the Communication Control
Toolkit IP address.

Log on to the Communication Control Toolkit server.

Stop the services.

From the Start menu, select Control Panel.
