Creating Parameter Files

Adsorptive Properties

Adsorptive properties provide the adsorptive characteristics for the analysis.
1. Perform the following steps to create an adsorptive properties file:
2. Select New, Adsorptive properties from the File menu; the Create an Adsorptive
Properties dialog containing the available templates is displayed.
3. Choose a template then click
4. Edit the description of the Adsorptive in the Adsorptive field; or enter a new one.
5. Ensure that the Mnemonic name for the adsorptive is in the Mnemonic field; if not enter
the name.
6. Click

as required, then click
7. Select Non-condensing Adsorptive if the gas is non-condensing.
8. Enter information (or accept the defaults) in the following fields (refer to
Properties
• Maximum manifold pressure
• Density conversion factor
• Therm. tran. hard-sphere diameter
• Molecular cross-sectional area
9. Choose the method you plan to use for dosing the sample.
