The maximum time for evacuating the sample through the restricted
valve was exceeded. Possible causes are a leak in the sample tube fit-
ting, a crack in the sample tube, or a poorly degassed sample.
Check the sample tube and the sample tube fitting; ensure that the tube
is securely attached to the port. Verify that the sample is properly
degassed; then restart the analysis
A power failure on an anlyzer which has an Uninteruptible Power Sup-
ply attached has lasted for an hour or more; therefore, the analysis has
been canceled.
Determine the cause of the power failure and correct it.
The maximum time was exceeded before the target pressure point was
reached. The gas regulator may be set too low or turned off.
Set the gas regulator to 10 psig (0.7 bar). Then resume the analysis.
The gas bottle is empty.
Connect a new gas bottle. Then resume the analysis.
