Installing the ASAP 2420 1-mmHg Transducer Option (Units with Serial Number 199 and below) P/N 242-42805-00 This document contains instructions for installing the 1-mmHg Transducer option only or for installing both the 1-mmHg transducer and micropore options on an ASAP 2420 analyzer.

Installing the 1-mmHg Transducer Option Only ASAP 2420 1-mmHg Transducer Option 5. Lift the panel up and off the analyzer. 6. The 10-mmHg transducer must be removed from the top of the old transducer block and installed on the front of the new block, and the 1-mmHg transducer must be installed on top of the new block.

To remove the 10-mmHg transducer, first disconnect the 10-mmHg transducer ribbon cable from the J8 connector on the transducer board (P/N 202-17706-001). 8. Use a wrench to loosen the nut that connects the 10-mmHg transducer to the transducer block.

ASAP 2420 1-mmHg Transducer Option Installing the 1-mmHg Transducer Option Only 18. Install the 10-mmHg transducer, with new front and rear ferrules, in the front of the transducer block. Use the connector nut you removed earlier; tighten the nut securely with a wrench.
