Emptying the tank for waterline treatment solution and mixing tank
Before manual sanitation, the tank for waterline treatment solution and
mixing tank must be emptied using the SPRAYVIT.
1. Remove the SPRAYVIT on the dentist element from the instrument
holder. Pull the SPRAYVIT sleeve from the valve body and insert the
valve body into the adapter in the water unit (for SPRAYVIT M: Valve
lever in the up position, locking knob in the down position).
2. Wait until no more water escapes from the SPRAYVIT. This can take
up to 12 minutes. Press the tumbler filler several times to speed up
the process.
 A warning triangle appears in the touchscreen status bar. After
touching the warning triangle, the error code 10 is displayed
("Flow at the SPRAYVIT M on the dentist element too low"). This
message confirms that the tank for waterline treatment solution
and mixing tank are empty.
3. Switch off the dental treatment unit via the user interface and return
the SPRAYVIT valve body to the instrument holder.
Treating water lines with DENTOSEPT P waterline treatment solution
The water lines of the instrument hoses, SPRAYVIT hoses, and the
tumbler filler are filled with pure DENTOSEPT P.
1. Fill approx. 0.6 liters of DENTOSEPT P into the tank for waterline
treatment solution.
2. Switch the dental treatment unit on via the user interface and wait
approximately 3 minutes until the dental treatment unit is ready for
operation.
