The System Main Screen now looks like Figure 5-87. The status of all
in slot P3 is "r".
If the card in slot P1 fails, the PWE uplink will switch to the redundant card in slot P3 after a
brief interruption in service. When the Out of Service condition is repaired, the
the slot that previously failed will initialize as the redundant card for the system.
If a second PWE card is inserted into the system, the only applicable function that it can serve
is as a redundant card.
5.34 System Redundancy

5.34.1 Alternate Mapping Table (AMT)

From the XCON screen, the user can access the AMT feature. The feature can not be activated
if OC3 or PWE card uplinks are used on the shelf.
