Circuit Diagnostics
The cross-connect element adds another level of testing within the node and enhances the
system's diagnostic capabilities. The operator may also monitor and set the state of the
Transmit and Receive ABCD signaling bits of a digitized voice circuit that is cross-connected
between WANs. The table below shows detailed information on the diagnostic capabilities of
the circuits.
