The fields to be addressed in creating a Pseudowire are:
1. PW - numerical representation of the Pseudowire, it is system generated. Numbers are 1
through 8.
2. WAN - Filled in by the system, this is the WAN appearance being converted to IP. PW1
through PW8 are directly related to WAN 1-1 through WAN 4-2 sequentially and cannot
be altered in this release.
3. TS - the only option today is 'whole', as in all timeslots.
4. JTR - the amount of jitter in milliseconds to be compensated for in the IP path. Valid
entries are from 1 to 128.
5. CLK - common (commn) clock or adaptive (adapt). Two Pseudowires can be set to
adaptive clocking. When using adaptive, the shelf should be set to PWx timed in the IF
screen. Refer to "Selecting the System Timing Clocks" in chapter 8 page 10 for setting
the system timing.
6. IP - the destination IP address for the Pseudowire.
7. The next column name will depend upon the protocol chosen for the PWE card: UPD,
MEF or MPLS. In Figure 24-6 above, the operator has chosen MPLS. Following is the
columns displayed based upon the chosen method commissioned:
UDP: A unique number from 57000 to 65535
