Two of the main screen actions require some more information. The Pw, and Eth stats/test
options are explained in more detail below.
Pw
The Pw option allows you to provision a Pseudowire circuit for any WAN appearance. To be
able to do this, first change the facility type to PWAN on the PWE main screen and save the
data as shown in Figure 24-5.
Below in Figure 24-6, the user has created a PWAN appearance and is now creating the
Pseudowire stream for WAN 2-2.
Note: In the 7.5.4 and 1.2.1 code release pair, the only option is to send an entire T1/E1
stream to the far end. For this release, there are eight available Pseudowire streams
which are hard-coded to reflect a corresponding WAN appearance. Refer to Table
24-1 for these associations.

Saves changes to settings.
Returns all settings to the last saved state.
Switch the card status from active to redundant, assuming there is a
redundant card and it is in-service.
Redraws the screen. This command queries all the statuses on the card, and
takes a few seconds to complete.
The Pw option will take the operator to the PWE commissioning screen
where the individual stream parameters are set.
Will take you to the Ethernet statistics screen, where the ping command and
other useful tools and information is available.
Returns to the System Main Screen. If changes are made to settings and not
saved, you will be prompted to save or lose changes.
