Use it to adjust the scanner image leading edge position (image read start position in sub
scanning direction).
if the non image width is larger than the indicated value, decrease the setting.
if an area outside the original is copied, increase the setting.
an increase by 1 of the setting will move the image read start position by 0.1 mm in the
direction of the training edge (i.e., the image read area moves toward the trailing edge).
if you have initialized the RAM on the reader controller PCB or replaced the reader
controller PCB, enter the value indicated on the service label.

[at time of shipment: factory measurement/after RAM initialization: 20]
If you have changed the setting, be sure to record the new setting on the service label.
