16.2.2 Making Connections

You will be connecting the PC to the machine.

[Before starting the work]

Keep the following on hand:

PC to which SST v1.73 or later has been installed and iRC3100 system software has been registered.

Twisted pair Cross cable

10BASE T: category 3 or 5

100BASE T: category 5

1) Start up the PC.

2) Check the network settings of the PC.

Type 'IPCONFIG' to the command prompt, and press the Enter key.

Check to see that the network settings are as follows:

172.16.1.160

Subnet mask:

255.255.255.0

Default gateway: any

iR XXXX-SYSTEM-USA[English] v0128

iR XXXX-Language-All[English] v0128

iR XXXX-RUI-All[English] v0128
