15.8.1.5.4 <PRI CLN >

primary charging wire auto cleaning counter (count retained by DC controller PCB)

If you have replaced the primary charging wire, reset the counter reading.

If you have replaced the DC controller PCB, enter the reading indicated before the replacement.

Memo: Entering the Pre Replacement Reading

Highlight the counter reading [1], and enter the reading indicated before the replacement.

15.8.1.5.5 <DV UNT K>

It indicates the number of sheets that have moved past through the developing unit.

If you have replaced the developing unit (Bk), initialize the reading.

If you have replaced the DC controller PCB, enter the reading recorded before the replacement.

Do not reset the reading or enter a new reading unless if you have done the foregoing.

Otherwise, the machine may have to operate on incorrect image density, producing foggy output

or damaging the drum (by carrier particles), requiring you to replace the developing unit (Bk),

and initialize the reading.

The machine's ATR control consists in the correction of the toner supply amount based on the

target density and the patch image density it measures at specific times. It corrects the target

density for individual colors, and it makes correction for Bk based on the cumulative number of

images made (i.e., the reading discussed herein).
