12.2 Image Adjustments

12.2.1 Image Position

The margin and the non image width of a printout
made at 100% magnification must be as follows:
Leading Edge Margin
4.0+1.5/-1.0mm
[double-sided copy, 2nd side:4.0+1.5/-1.0mm]

12.2.2 Checking the Image
Make 10 prints using the following as the source of
paper; then, check to see if the margin and the non
image width are as indicated:
1 cassettes
2 manual feed tray
3 left/right front deck
If outside the standards, make the following
adjustments:
1. Leading Edge Image Margin Adjustment (1st side)
Execute the following service mode to adjust the
registration:
COPIER > ADJUST > FEED ADJ > REGIST

2. Left/Right Image Margin Adjustment
Adjust the horizontal registration mechanically.
3. Leading Edge Image Margin Adjustment (2nd side)
Execute the following service mode items to adjust
the registration:
2.5+1.5mm/-1.5mm

decrease the setting of REGIST.
(an increase by 10 will decrease the margin by 1 m
Copy, 1st side:4.0+1.5/-1.0mm
Increase the setting of REGIST.
(an decrease by 10 will decrease the margin by 1 m
