Oil Pump Inspection; Specifications; Service Data - Suzuki Intruder VZ1500 Service Manual

• Tighten the oil pump mounting bolts.
• Assemble the engine. Refer to "Engine Bottom Side
Assembly in Section 1D (Page 1D-64)" and "Engine
Top Side Assembly in Section 1D (Page 1D-32)".

Oil Pump Inspection

Oil Pump
Inspect the oil pump in the following procedures:
1) Remove the oil pump. Refer to "Oil Pump Removal
and Installation (Page 1E-9)".
2) Rotate the oil pump by hand and check that it moves
smoothly. If it does not move smoothly, replace the
oil pump assembly.
CAUTION
!
Do not attempt to disassemble the oil pump
assembly.
The oil pump is available only as an
assembly.

replace them with new ones.
